Steel construction for the production of medical products
We supplied the steel construction for four new hall sections for the plant extension of medical product manufacturer B. Braun in Melsungen, Hesse and manufactured a total of 600 tons of steel according to specifications and assembled them on site.
The steel structures of the new halls create the spatial conditions for state-of-the-art on site industrial and digitalized production. This is because the monitoring and control of digitalized processes is playing an increasingly important role - and these processes need space. For driverless transport systems, innovative storage systems, robotics and an efficient infrastructure, among other things.
What sounds abstract is actually very important for all of us: after all, B. Braun reliably supplies hospitals and doctors' surgeries with the medical products they need every day, such as infusions. And these are manufactured here.
It's good to know that our steel not only supports hall roofs, but also underpins our country's medical care.
