Energy-Efficient Modernization of a High School
The county has invested nine million euro in the structural quality and energy efficiency of Wollenberg High School in the town of Wetter, State of Hesse, which was originally built in the 1970s. For the project C + P was responsible for general planning for the county and managed the complete project.
The challenge here lay in the renovation of the older buildings: Outside of vacation periods the school had to continue in operation, so the majority of the work had to be completed in just 6 weeks. Special emphasis therefore had to be paid to detailed preliminary planning and the close dovetailing of all parties involved.
