Dry dock superstructure for a shipyard
For a shipyard in Wolgast, we roofed over an existing dry dock. The resulting hall has impressive dimensions: it is 128 meters long, 46 meters wide and 45 meters high. And heavy! We manufactured, delivered and assembled 2,300 tons of steel on site for this impressive structure.
Our contract included the partial turnkey construction of the steel structure, the roof covering with SHE, the façade with steel sandwich elements and the installation of doors, gates and window strips.
From the roof girder spanning 39 meters to the 36 x 40 meter lifting gate: the dimensions are impressive.
