The new architect's office, Glass Kramer Löbbert bda, Berlin, together with Prof. Uta Graff, BDA architect, are this year's winners of the German Steel Construction Award. The project :envihab – Institute for Aerospace Medicine at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the Porz District of Cologne, impressed the jury with its urban development quality with a cube of great clarity and a steel lattice hidden in the interior that powerfully spans the ground and offers a high degree of flexibility in usage.
