As of April 1, 2024, Karsten Kußmann took over the management of Christmann & Pfeifer Construction GmbH & Co. KG. He succeeds Rolf Heinecke, who is retiring from operational business after almost 40 years with the company.

As a qualified civil engineer, Karsten Kußmann has held management positions in the industrial construction sector since 2007, most recently as Managing Director of Cadolto Modulbau GmbH (Zech Group). "Next year, CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. I'm really looking forward to the tasks ahead of me and to continuing the company's success story together with the team."

His predecessor Rolf Heinecke is convinced that he will succeed: "Thanks to his professional background and many years of experience, Karsten Kußmann has excellent knowledge of the industry and is aware of both current and future challenges. He is therefore ideally placed to lead the company successfully into the future."

To ensure a smooth transition, Rolf Heinecke will continue to work in an advisory capacity until the summer. Stefan Pitzer will remain part of the company management as Commercial Director.
