At the end of each year, the construction division of the CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER Group traditionally honors its long-serving employees and bids farewell to retirees. This tradition underlines the close ties between the company and its workforce and draws attention to the exciting and varied careers and stories of those honored.
During the official ceremony at the Angelburg site, Managing Director Karsten Kußmann emphasized this special relationship once again in his speech: “I am always impressed by how strong the loyalty and sense of belonging of employees is, especially in owner-managed companies. In this day and age, it is by no means a matter of course to remain loyal to your employer for so long. Next year, CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. Such long-term success is only possible thanks to people like you, who do their job every day with commitment, motivation and passion. We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you!”
While Karsten Kußmann, who took over the management of CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER in April, attended this event for the first time, it was a farewell for his predecessor Rolf Heinecke. Having steered the fortunes of the company as Managing Partner for almost 40 years, he retired from operational business this year and was now officially bid farewell to his well-deserved retirement at the event. Works Council Chairman Bernd Onderka and Angelburg Mayor Jörg Schwarz also congratulated all those honored.
