"Every year again" it sounds during the Christmas season, and every year the CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER Group's (C + P) end-of-year donation is handed over to its recipient. This time, 5,300 euros go to the Kinderschutzbund Regionalverband Freiberg e. V.
C + P Managing Director Rolf Heinecke personally traveled from the company headquarters in Angelburg, Hesse, to Freiberg to visit the association and hand over the symbolic cheque to the Head of Finance, Andrea Günther. The Kinderschutzbund Regionalverband Freiberg e. V. was founded in September 1997 and has set itself the goal of making the local community more child- and family-friendly. The association is now responsible for six daycare centers and a family center and is also involved in emergency aid for young people and families.
Why is the donation going to Freiberg? CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER has had its own company site in Freiberg since 1993. With its steel construction production facility in Himmelfahrtsgasse, the company feels a close connection to the region - and invests "not entirely altruistically" in future generations in the area, as Managing Director Rolf Heinecke reports. The donation was gratefully received by the Kinderschutzbund. It opens up scope for special and larger wishes for which there is otherwise no room in the institution's budget.
